chezza1986 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 I'd be careful with swapping chokes about as companies do have different bore diameters. For example Winchester might have a bore diameter of 0.760" but Browning might have a bore diameter 0.742" so although the chokes are the same design there is a difference which does put me off using a choke not made specifically for my gun. clayman Posted September 8, 2010 Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 As has been suggested, there is some cross compatibility when brand names are all owned by one company - viz Winchester / Browning - but in general the answer is no - every gun manufacturers chokes may have different wall thickness's, different threads, and different lengths.
