Bobba
I'm not sure how to explain this query because I'm unclear on the mathematics or whatever, but here goes.......... Those sights I have seen have a fibre optic of upto almost 2 inches. When placed on the rib this means that the back end of the sight the shooter will be using is now almost 2 inches nearer the shooter than the original bead. Does this, therefore, effectively reduce your barrell length by 2 inches. i.e, a 30" barrel is now being sighted at 28"? and if this is the case how does it impact upon your aim point? beretta
i know what you mean exactly. with the optic, easyhit type of bead it is more like a light rather than a visible bead that you can focus on. try focusing on a light, its not easy. with a 'visible' bead i notice that the lead picture will alter slightly as with a shorter barrel. a longer barrel will tend to give you slightly less lead picture than a short barrel one.
