Chris B123
I went to this shoot today, I was made very welcome by Nigal Hart and his staff. I wasnt a fan of squadded shoots before but I really enjoyed it. A nice selection of targets apart from the rabbit . Will be going again . HDAV
Hi chris is it the sort of place you can just turn up or do most turn up in squads? What's the cost like?
Chris B123
Hi chris is it the sort of place you can just turn up or do most turn up in squads? What's the cost like? I went with a mate, and we signed on and were paired with another pair who were very helpfull and gave us some good tips on shooting the ground, There was no pressure on who we shot with we could have proboly shot it on our own. the next one is the 10oct, £30 comp, £25 B/O, give me a shout just before and we can meet up if you want. Chris.

HDAV
Just spoke to Nigel, its on tomorrow 10am start. Thanks Chris, did you go? I had a change of plan and went to Cross Gun Club in Kinver instead. Did you ring the number that's on the website? or do you have another number for Nigel? Do you have to be there for 10 or can you start later say 12? Sorry for all the questions but you seem to be the only way to get any info on the shoot... HDAV
How is tree tops theese days, last few times i've been there had lot of trouble with trap break downs and no birds so ain't been back since! Depends how long ago you went they have replaced alot of traps and repaired more normally get 5 no birds on a round of 100 so pretty good, traps do run out but if you tell the guys on quads or ring the lodge they get them refilled pretty quickly. It's where i tend to shoot, they have been working hard to reduce the no bird count. You should give it a go some time. How does St Dials compare in terms of Birds, layout etc? Dustem Dave
I was going to tree tops back in the summer even joined as a member. St Dials is a similar layout part trees, part open fields, probabley harder targets, usually have a few breakdowns though, usually a good shoot you,ll enjoy it! :good
HDAV
Looking forward to it, Treetops is getting better all the time still has a few issues but haven't been to a ground that doesn't. Hope weather is decent next weekend.
