I wouldn't go within a mile of him if he's holding a rifle. A very unpredictable and aggressive little man.

twitchynik
Is anyone going to the Redbournbury shoot on Saturday? I'm not sure the non-ford crossing route from the Harpenden side will be doable without a 4x4 so could do with blagging a lift from some kind gent...! Currently looking at parking up as close as I can (Kink Bar ) and walking the last bit. Will call John tomorrow anyway and see what's occuring. They had their 20 bird flush working last time. Was over the pond on the left (stands 1 and 2) and quite enjoyable. Their Christmas shoot is on Thursday Dec 30th.

I'm in AL5 too, only 5 min walk from the Carpenters, Engineer, Plough and Harrow, Skew Bridge and Silver Cup Tomorrow better than tonight. huffhuff
Hi guys, I'm in Herts too. Hitchin/Stevenage. I shoot clays more locally at the little shoots in Codicote/St Ippolyts, but do go to Broonhills and the A1 when I can (afford it). Used to shoot in Hemel when I lived in Berkhamsted. Cupid Green, Toddington, Missenden, West London etc. etc. Cracking little farm shoot open to the public down the road here (almshoebury). Usually a 60/80 bird (depending on whether they have the pheasant pens on the ground). 1st Sunday of every month, nice and cheap too - with good bacon rolls! Let me know if you fancy coming down and we can put a squad together. Also do a bit of rough shooting and lamping when I get the time. Maybe see some of you guys around...always happy to come along and join any lonely souls for a shoot. As with Terry, I can next make the Almshoebury shoot in Feb but also the East Barnet on Jan 16. Am always down at Redbournbury on Saturdays. Good to meet Roly from here too You too Billy. Went back to the pub last night to practice the arrows following the drunken signing up to the darts team. It wasn't a pretty sight...
