wy111
http://www.schmidtbender.com/reticlesstandard.htm Strangely enough, mine is an 8 (It was the only one in stock at the time) and have no problem with it, as many bushy tails can't argue with. Would have preferred the 7 tho. Dave
Beardo
either is fine, but i'd probably go for a
Raja Clavata
Yep, I prefer the A7 over A8 but have both and when it actually matters there is no difference (for me)...
varmit
Another vote for the A7 atb Ian
the black mire
After taking a closer look at reticle no 7 it appears very simalar to the reticle on my meopta 7 x50 . the problem i have with this scope is when lamping i find it hard to focus the centre of the cross hairs on a fox past 80 yards or so .the reason for this i think is the fine crosshair at 12 oclock . this is the main reason for wanting to buy a schmidt and bender 8 x56 .what is the reason for all forums members favouring no 7 . once again many thanks. Beardo
you can still see the fat posts in poor light on the no.7, and the thin centre bit doesn't obscure targets at longer ranges - so best of both
