If it's 2 3/4" then you'll be fairly limited with steel shot. 32g of 4 shot will be ok for close duck, but I doubt you'll find a steel load big enough for geese. 36g 1's in Tungsten should take care of them, or indeed Hevi-Shot, but be prepared to pay.
