woodcock1
Hi all, Im looking for someone to share a bit of woodcock shooting with at weekends and Christmas holidays. I have enough land to shoot over for about 15 days without shooting same place twice (mostly in mid ulster and co Antrim). I need someone with a good dog and who can give the odd days shooting in return. On my own blank days dont really exist and 8 would be a great day. If anyone interested give me a shout, even just for a chat about woodcock. Edited September 30, 2010 by woodcock1

woodcock1
I came down to shoot on lower ground near home and found the birds to be doing much better, some even gaining fat. (nice line of fat on their breast when plucked). I think the snipe found it real tough though. I saw snipe rise to sit on the fence posts as I walked past. cracshack
Bit late, but if needed for next year... I do quite a bit of rough shooting, and have a dog, and hopefully by then the current pup will be up to scratch. The older is a good working/beating terrier and has done a lot, as well as ferreting. So if you ever need a hand let me know, I'm more than happy just to come for the walk.
