edr
I tried searching but couldn't find much , Purely out of curiosity, On the side of the beretta barrels there is a flat head screw that goes into the barrel, what is the purpose of this? Many Thanks EDR

Alycidon
Looking at your list I guess its the 682. I have a 687 and that does not have a screw where you suggest. A

A Yes it is, all the pics off google show the screw. Its near the chamber but the sides they go through looks moulded as one, so no need for a screw??? :\
Gordon R
It screws the replaceable shoulder piece to the barrel. After mega millions shells, the shoulder on the barrel wears. They can then be easily replaced.
