Man this is so cool.

My silencer arrived today courtesy of SCOTTK from BBS £15 posted for a Logun

And after my Alros received a trip to Leupy for some bits put right and a rethread of the barrel end to 1/2" UNF.

I am VERY chuffed with the low profile of the silencer and the way the whole thing just seems to blend in quite nicely

Now i need to go play with it for a while to get a good fell of it erm i mean feel FOR it :*)

Later guys

Yeah all the bits are there bro

Can be made FAC rated soooo easy these are a treat to shoot with reported sub inch groups at 35 yards and further (yet to test that theory)

Seconds to assemble and packs down into a bag 16" long by 8" wide

Nice little thing to hide in a rucksack. As long as you don't go to the london underground

they are a nice little rifle the alros take down

is it the 8 shot version or single shot?

the only thing that lets them down is the trigger, being a single stage thats not too much of a problem but they can be a bit on the heavy side (pull weight) if you send it back to alros you can get them to sort the trigger pull weight out (i think)

and if you put a little bit of pipe lagging on the stock and use that as a cheek piece it turns it into a very comfortable rifle to shoot.

easy to make a bipod adaptor for them as well, bit of drain pipe, little bit of plastic, a QR stud and a bit of araldite.

cut the drain pipe about 6-8" long (or what ever length you want as its not too important) one end should have a cut of about 45 degrees. (this enables you to slide the pipe over the buddy bottle.

The end you have cut on the angle, araldite (or any glue) the plastic block in the centre of it at the end, and then drill it out for the sling stud to go on.

then hey presto you have a bottle clap for the bipod that is fitted in about 2 seconds flat and means you can cant the rifle using any bipod, fixed head or swivel head!

will try to get some pics of the one made by a guy at the club as a reference if you want  as it sounds confusing but if you see it you will go "AHA! that simple eh!"

ROB :)

PS the bipod drainpipe works for any rifle with a buddy bottle on the front (rapids, Super 10's, alros, etc.)

It is indeed the 8 shot self indexing mag version. I don't find any trouble with the trigger but i aint a small chap

As for the Bipod the idea comes across fine it's along the same lines as the rod rest we used to make for the piers a bit ow waste water pipe and a few bolts and a bit of wire flex with the cables removed to slide over the bolts to protect the rods from the threads.

Makes good sense to me.

I find it's a cracking little rifle and quite consistant

Takes over the place of my Gunpower Stealth and Shadow as i had to sell them for funding a new hobby of clay pigeon shooting :)

aha  i forgot to mention about the bipod thing, where the little plastic bit is glued in that butts up nicely against the budy bottle :)

As for comparing this to the stealth, the alros is a much higher quality rifle! and its about as accurate as you could possibly want it to be :) similar price to the stealth new and i know where my money would be spent

Pic of 2 sets of 4 shots here

Top left long group was front of gun rested but suffered a little muzzle lift?

Lower group was full gun rested

These were shot over 25 - 28 yards with a standard 3-9 x 40 scope and the red section on the target is a shade under 3/4 of an inch.

Most happy
