Stealth Stalker
I was out beating today, we had our last corporate shoot before the beaters day next week. Can't wait!! We've been averaging 300 this season. Still lots about for next week. SS

Stealth Stalker
Gibby There was 8 guns today, 238 for 876 shots fired, the gamekeeper keeps a count of every shot. About 35 partridge, 40 duck, 1 woodcock and the rest pheasant. I got a brace of duck waiting to be plucked. Yummmm SS

Natures_son
A local shoot to me shot 12 birds for 202 shots Edited January 26, 2006 by Natures_son
waddy
Does it all get taken away? I sure hope so. I would rather have a rough shoot with a bag of 30 or 40 and know i have had a couple of bloody good shots that be able to hit birds with a tennis racket on large driven days. Just my opinion though. A chap was talking to me and the only shot he can remember out of 20 pheasants he dropped was a magpie because it was different. I know what I would rather do. Stealth Stalker
Waddy Yes they're all hanging in the game larder waiting for the dealer to collect. Nothing goes to waste. SS
