Dekers
You may have seen the news over the last couple of days about the helicopter crash, unfortunately I knew nothing of this until today. I have known Charley (everyone called him Charley) for around 18 months, he was an enthusiastic shooter, I was over his house on Friday (his country house on the borders of Berkshire and Surrey), amongst other things I was ribbing him about the pile of shotgun cartridges he left in the wicker fruit bowl on his kitchen table. He had a lovely wife and children, I was truly shocked this morning to hear that some 24 hours after I saw him he was dead. He was a decent guy, got on well with everyone as far as I could see and will be desperately missed, by not only his family but all who knew him!
