Fishermanpaddy
Was lookin through Youtube for a vid on barrell proofing marks and came across this. Thought I would share it. All the years I have been shooting I have never seen a Gun explode like this before, pretty scary stuff. The caption says that its a homemade load, guess the guy must have put about 80g of powder in there.
Guest cookoff013
he either double charged the load or he had way more shot in there.

fortune82
When I was a lad I was at a clay pigeon shoot. A bloke took his place on the DTL stand and proceeded to blow his gun to pieces with the first shot. He only had burns on his hand and a few cuts on his face. Turned out he was using home loads and had put in a double charge of Red Dot powder into every cartridge. I dont know much about reloading but it looked potent stuff!
