game_boy
Folks needing some techo help. Our broadband went down on Friday there and has only just come back on. Only problem is my desktop which uses the Netgear wireless connector is not connecting back to the signal. However my notebook is connecting to the signal so the broadband must be back on. Is there anything I can do to resolve the problem? I've tried disabling it enabling it, repair etc butg nothing is doing. Anyway I can reset it? Many thanks. game_boy
Cheers i'll try that and see what happens. Just tried it and not working. wyatt
Rather than just powering off see if you can connect to the admin page via the laptop that is working, disconnect the broadband line via this and then do a restart (all via the web page). Sometimes when you just do a power cycle it can knock your speed for a while.
berettaman
If your problems persist you may have to do a clean reinstall with the disc provided, hope you kept all your passwords and setting codes  Bm
vole
I am sure you have done this but the Netgear router I have has a little pin hole reset button at the back when it plays up.
Slug
I was going to say the same open the admin page of the router common IP for them is 192.168.1.1, you may need to recheck your settings hope you have MAC address filtering enabled for a wireless set up ! Odd that the notebook can see it and not the other comp.
