Webley Raider Problem

I have a secondhand Webley Raider 2 Shot, When I fill it with air the power drops to arround 5 ft lbs, as it is discharged the power goes higher and higher, any ideas to the problem, I am charging it to 180 bar, any ideas, thanks.

You are filling too high, you have partial valve lock. Even though the manual says fill to 190 odd bar, I have found around 130 bar is ideal to put you right in the power curve. Either that or adjust the hammer up a little, but run the risk of going over power as the pressure drops.

fill to 130 bar.. lol how many shot do you get then

 

i found with my raider fill to 170 bar

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like your valve is knackered!

Take it to a decent gunsmith if you cant' swap it yourself, the part should be about 45 quid, all- in for it to be done and returned for about 130 ish.
