remmy1100
well set up before first light this morning on some new permission ,all ready for pigeons, this time i put hide up first as i got caught out last week :( birds came in a few groups twenty thirty birds then a few hundred odds but i still shot at them .they have been hitting a strip of maize nearby for last week but positioned myself so shot noise would carry and disturb them also set up wind from pond as there is a lot of seagulls use it which i find helps as when you shoot they rise up spin around fields a bit then seattle again i find this helps get the pigeons on the wind.had to bite my toungue abit as ducks and geese were constantly overhead but end of season it is and plus thats a nature reserve at bottom of field.anyway ended up with 87 and a rook shot like a rookie should of been double that but kept forgeting safety oops :( have posted couple of pics if anyone intrested
