adi1210
Had a fantastic day last thursday..pigeons feeding hard on hawthorn berries, there were hundreds if not thousands. set up at 11.30am with hide and placed 14 decoys down hedge. within 2 min they were coming in, in 3's and 4's. didnt shoot brilliant but managed 84 and 2 crows for around 140 shots, not a bad day considering gale force winds. packed up at 3.15pm. Location shot: Ulceby, North lincolnshire Shotgun used: 20g investarm Pigeons shot:

turbo33
Ws thinking the same the other day. I watched them piling onto a hedge and thought a few decoys and a flapper could give some good sport
adi1210
yes there going mad on them around here, think its gunna be a bad winter. there not going on rape here yet, was talking to farmer the other day and i asked him if he had any rape in..he said yes but the pigeons arnt going on it because they now get the rape that pigeons dont like, they have a bitterness in the leaves, which has been done to keep pigeons off. bad news 4 me..
