hi

title should say 'shot this a few weeks back not months back'

was just clearing pictures of stuff i've sold recently off the computer and found this, it was taken about a month ago. so thought i post it as i've not shot much else recently.

i'd had a right cr*p morning not seen a single rabbit in the 4 hours i'd been out. i got sat with my back against a tree and got the flask out when i caught a flash of grey out the corner of my eye. it was running along some fallen branches, i absolutely despise treerats so wasn't gonna pass up on it, it was down in an bowl shaped dip in the woods so i was shooting down giving me an ideal back stop, i waited for it too come from hehind the branch and let it have it. bloody things.

Good shot, you certainly made sure that he wasn't going to fet away! That rifle looks tasty all camoed up, what is it mate? I see you have an inverted scope mount on your scope, is that for a comcorder or lamp?

Hi frenchie,

It's a cz452 varmint .22lr mate, the bracket is for the tracermax, it comes off easy enough but i always leave it on.

I got the stock done by ryan off here, he did a good job too.

Swiss .22's not overkill for a treerat, i'd never shoot one in a tree with one obviously but if there on the grond and its safe why not?
