mark 325
Hi I have been shooting for 20 years and really enjoy the sport. I have recently been lucky enough to go out for a day ferriting. Since reading the countrymans weekly I have become really interested in lamping rabbit with dogs. Is there anyone who does this in the Wilts area that would mind me coming along one night to see how it is done?? Many regards, Mark. Billy.
As far as I know, it's illegal. But the thread below doesn't seem to actually come to any conclusion, so I'll probably be wrong http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/105836-been-invited-for-a-night-of-lamping-with-longdogs/page__p__906513__fromsearch__1#entry906513 Edited November 19, 2010 by Billy. It's where foxes are involved things get tricky.
markbivvy
as of February 2005 hunting with dogs within (England, Scotland & Wales) is banned with the exception of RATS & RABBITS which are still legal quarry.
