retromlc
Fair point but because they look good i wear them all the time, when walking dogs etc,so it pays in the end to buy quality
Birdy
My latest acquisition is a pair of Deerhunter Smallville trousers with Hitena. They're superb for £71. If you're a stalker, forget the Hitena aspect- it's very rustly! I'm so impressed I've put the matching jacket on my Christmas list... paul99
My latest acquisition is a pair of Deerhunter Smallville trousers with Hitena. They're superb for £71. If you're a stalker, forget the Hitena aspect- it's very rustly! I'm so impressed I've put the matching jacket on my Christmas list... I have both for around 2 years now and you won't regret buying either - the most comfortable gear I've ever had and warm too - It's ideal in the current weather. I agree with you on the hitena patches it can a bit rustly on a very still night lamping but the stuff does do what it claims to - whilst on our small shoot last weekend I was marching along a footpath running through a rough patch of ground to get ahead of rest of the guys until I come to a dead hault when a big thick bramble / dog rose pulled very tight and pinned itself to my thigh - I'd trodden on the end of it with my left foot and it was firmly rooted at the other so it had no where to go - without that hitena I'm certain that I would now have a big tear in my trousers and probably a very deep cut in my thigh such was the force the thing pulled into me. As it is I had a line of red dots across my thigh where the thorns went in but theres not a mark on the trousers. The material might not stop thorns penetrating but I'm real glad it doesn't tear or my leg would have been in a real mess.
