Zapp
Well, I have finally made a rather hard choice. After several more frustrating shoots whilst using lighter skeet loads (28g/24g), having had loads of stoppages, my Franchi Raptor went back to GMK 2 weeks ago. It came back, with a note telling me the gas ports had been bored, and that the gun had been tested. Took it out yesterday, guess what? It worked perfectly for a while, then the old probs started again. I therefore phoned the gunshop and told them I wanted my money back. They were very apologetic, and agreed to refund me in full. I happened to ask them if we could come to some arrangement over a new gun, and to cut a long story short, I will be taking delivery of a brand new AL391 Urika next week for the princely sum of £240, the rest being taken up by my refund money. I would like to add, in view of the fact that I know there to be a couple of Raptor owners on the forums, that everyone was amazed that I was having trouble with the gun, and that it was definately a rogue gun, not a reflection on the Raptors usually fine performance. Cant wait for next week! Pete PS editted due to spllelnig errros Edited February 11, 2006 by PeteBrady
Marc M
It's true that bad apples crop up in most products, shame you had to put up with the frustrations of a badly behaved gun but it sounds like you've come out of it smiling. Good luck with the new Beretta Jammy sod!!!
