  1. Hi, would you consider selling the rifle on its own? I already have a hard case, mounts and a few scopes (one of which is that very scope). If not, good luck with your sale. Marc
  2. Hi all, It's been a LOOOOOOONG time since I posted on here, previously I owned all sorts of PCP's and shotguns, but haven't shot at all in the last 3 years or so. Anyway, I want to get back in to the swing of things and so I am looking for an honest, well priced spring airgun (or gas ram) to get myself back in the fold. I am open to whether it is .22 or .177. I still have a number of scopes and mounts, so I'm looking for rifle only, not a combo. I look after my own gear fastidiously though, so I do expect to the same from you. In an ideal world I would like an HW97 or a TX200HC (Or a Fenman, I always regretted selling the one I had 5 years back)... Or similar quality rifle. Emphasis on quality, I don't want any old trout. I have owned pretty much every PCP on the market in the past, and now just want to ease myself back in to pleasure shooting, with the ability to do a spot of pest control too. I would consider all offers, so if you have a decent springer, even say a HW95k, then I would appreciate it if you could get in touch. I am sorry for the vagueness of this post, but I am just looking for a self contained rifle that I can live with and get back in to the sport for the next few years. I am willing to spend up to £250, possibly slightly more for something spectacular (AA Pro Sport). I live in Lancashire and am able to collect. Cash waiting. Thanks, Marc
  3. Hi unclemicky, Couple of questions if I may? Could you tell me how many shots per charge this gets? I had a Venom tubed HW a good few years back and can't for the life of me remember how many shots you can get. Also, what silencer is that? Is it included in the sale? And finally, how many 14 shot mags are withthe gun? Very interested, and you are fairly local to me too. ATB, Marc
  4. Now £175 plus post, or sensible offers. Thanks.
  5. Hi, I bought a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40AO with parallax adjustment, new, about a year ago... I bought it with the intention of getting myself a new rifle to use with it but I never got round to it. It has NEVER been mounted on a rifle and as such has no scope ring marks or any other blemishes on the tube body, it is absolutely as new, boxed with scope covers and all papers. The optics are unbelievably crystal clear, and are totally blemish free, not even a spec on them. The zoom ring is chunky and very smooth, as is the parallax adjustable front ring. The scope oozes quality. Would sit ideally on a whole range of classy rifles, from top end airguns to rimfire or even centrefire rifles. If you like your quality optics, you will love this scope. I have attached a photo below. £200 plus postage, or collection in person (at no extra charge :yp:) The specs of the scope from the Bushnell website are as follows: Elite® 3200 Riflescopes 4-12 x 40mm 32-4124A Model Finish Power / Obj Lens (mm) Recticle Field of View (ft@100 ft. / m@100 m) Weight (oz. / g) 32-4124A Matte 4-12 x 40 Multi-X® 26.9/9@4x 9/3@12x 15 / 425 Length (in / mm) Eye Relief (in / mm) Exit Pupil (mm) Click Value in@100 yds / mm@100m Adj Range in@100yds/mm@100m Mounting Length (in / mm) 13.2 / 335 3.3 / 83 10-3.33 .25 / 7 50 / 1.4 6.0 / 152 Elite 3200 Riflescopes The Elite® 3200 offers multi-coated optics for generous light transmission and crisp image quality. Our exclusive, patented Rainguard® lens coating reduces large drops of water to near-microscopic specks, dramatically increasing light transmission and resulting in a remarkably clear image in wet weather. The Elite 3200 riflescopes feature a rugged, one-piece aluminum tube. And, like the 4200, this scope is tested to rigorous standards – recoil tested to 1,000 rounds of a .375 H&H magnum. The 3200 offers everything the avid hunter requires. * Special Features * Adjustable objective * Parallax setting from 10 yd. – infinity * Features * Rainguard® * Multi-coated optics * Magnum recoil-proof construction * One-piece hammer-forged tube * 100% waterproof/fogproof /shockproof construction * Dry-nitrogen filled * 1/4 M.O.A. or finer fingertip, audible/resettable windage and elevation adjustment * Elite® Bullet-Proof Warranty * "No Questions Asked" one- year replacement (U.S. only) Rainguard® Bushnell’s permanent, patented, hydrophobic (water-repellant) lens coating prevents fogging by causing condensation from rain, sleet, snow or even your own breath to bead up into much smaller droplets than on standard coatings. Smaller droplets scatter less light which results in a clearer, brighter view. Now the hunter won’t miss the shot of a lifetime because of rain or accidentally breathing on his eyepiece.
  6. Crikey, it didn't last long, gun sold already Thanks for all enquiries.
  7. I have been asked about the cocking mechanism of the gun, so have taken a couple of photos which hopefully show how it works. It is an over lever type gun, whereby the barrel is extended over the top of the gun and compressed back on the return stroke. This compresses enough air for one recoil free shot. The gun hardly has a blemish on it, I have owned it from new and to be honest it still looks like new too. Hope the photos help.
  8. For sale, a black Webley Nemesis single stroke pneumatic (which means recoilless) .177 air pistol in excellent condition, will include a Webley branded soft pistol case with sale. £50 posted.
  9. Lanber still for sale, to clarify, the gun is in good general overall condition, it has been a reliable, honest gun. I will point out that there is some minor pitting in the upper barrel (breech end). In my opinion this in no way inhibits the performance or reliability of the gun. Price reduced to £250 for quick sale. As a field gun you aren't worried about getting scratched whilst out and about, or a first shotgun I don't think you can get much better.
  10. Gun now sold, thank you I have for sale my Lanber SPorter Deluxe 12g over and under multichoke shotgun. It comes with 5 removable chokes (full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 and skeet), the choke key and a leather choke holder. Being the deluxe version this gun has the nicer walnut stock and engraving. It has a single, selective trigger with a manual safety and automatic ejectors. It has been used by me as a back-up clays and rabbiting gun and would be ideal as a beginners/first shotgun, or as a nicer field/rough gun for pest control. I'm selling as I've just had the chance to buy a friends Beretta Silver Pigeon and so need to clear a space in my cabinet as well as putting a few pennies towards the Beretta. The gun has been well used but has been very reliable for me, always giving an honest shot. I am asking for £275. Now reduced to £200!!! I am based in Brierfield, in East Lancashire, near to the towns of Burnley and Blackburn and with easy access to the M65 motorway. I've attached a couple of photos for your perusal. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking, Marc
  11. Nice speaking with you earlier Ian, can't wait to collect my new sporter!!! Many thanks, Marc
  12. Very interested. PM sent. If still available I would love to take it off your hands, collection not a problem. Marc
  13. You must place a price on your advert, the moderators will delete your thread otherwise
  14. I have a 3 shot Mossy 500 pump action and must admit it is a great tool. It's quite noisy in the pump racking action, and a tad nose heavy I find, but it shoots straight and is easy to operate and very, very robust. I get a big grin every time I shoot mine
  15. Gun now sold. Thanks for all enquiries. Marc
  16. Forgot to mention that this is a 12 ft/lb model and NOT FAC. Thanks. Marc
  17. Quality video!! I've previously watched one of those KKK impersonators get flung into the protective screening behind the firing point in a much shorter video before, but didn't recognise him in that montage. Definitely same place though. No wonder it looks to have hurt some of those dopey oiks though, they just weren't leaning into the shot, and some even had their weight on their back foot!!!!! Made me laugh, a lot, though
  18. I visited Crete last August with my fiance on a last minute booking, ended up in Horsonnisos in a hotel FULL to the brim of Irish lads and lasses; it's apparently an Irish home from home so you should be alright pal. We had a fantastic craic, especially when drinking the illegally exported Irish purchine (sp) We got chatty with a local living next door to our hotel who arranged for us to go for a day up in the mountain villages, absolutely stunning. Avoid Malia though, it's full of beered up English idiots And the bar & club touts there do not take no for an answer. All in all, beautiful place that I will most definitely return to. Marc

    IOM TT

It really is awe inspiring watching bikes fly passed topping 180+mph when all there is between them and you is a small dry stone wall, or a grass verge, or sometimes nothing but a piece of ribbon cordon!! Certainly gets the sphincter going, and that's as a spectator! For anyone who is thinking of travelling to Man for a TT, please go, it's absolutely amazing. I've been with my pals three times in recent years but missed last years race as well as this due to work commitments. Must say I'm gutted!
