955i
Hi all, looking into getting a scope mounted lamp but on a definite budget of around £50 (not much I know but Xmas is just around the corner ). Looking at Cluson kit as I have always been happy with their stuff, but wondered whether I would be better going for one of the penlight types (e.g. micro 100 at around £40) or just get the larger GL9 lamp (around £50) only which I can use with the battery pack I already have for my CB2? Any thoughts welcome Edited December 4, 2010 by 955i
steve_b_wales
I have, for many years, used a Cluson Blaserlite. I either use it hand held, or scope mounted. This lamp is excellent, and very bright. It's lightweight, and the filters are good value too. Steve.
apache
I have a gunmount for the CB2 and use that. Your £50 would get you the set of filters and the gun clamp, use what you have. Slung over the shoulder it's not that heavy, don't notice the weight on the gun
