henry d
I`ve been in me shed(another project looming)and among the traps and feathers and rubbish I thought I`d post how I adapted some pegs over the years. L - R as bought, broken, modified with a red hot galv nail pushed into plastic peg(minus the head) and lastly some were lost so I improvised by glueing a nail into an old fibreglass tent pole. henry d
You then have to modify the deeks by drilling a hole in behind the slot to fit.
henry d
The last photo shows the 3 plastic lumps, one with a slot in which you can use with these pegs. They are made of the springy straps bricks come palleted etc.one has the dowel attached for tall crops and the other is a short version(should be another 6" longer)that is used without the dowel on drillings etc.
henry d
I also found my DIY dead bird cradles, made from fence wire and can be made long or short to suit the crops.
