masterzone2
Ok guys more of an interest matter really but was wondering when In this country can you shoot a 50 cal rifle-Yes I know Its a big round but I also know (licensed) Civilians can shoot with them. Considering how far these rounds can travel Was wondering when they can be used.

Any C/F will cover a considerable range, so I don't think the fact the bullet travels far is of much more concern than any other C/F

SilentKill
I have 2 friends who have .50 Cal and they mainly shoot at LIDD Range, you are limited to about 5 ranges in the UK which are classified for .50 cal. check out this link for ranges and info. Fifty Cal Owners Club Guns are not cheap though! But tracer rounds are fun!
Tiff-TRG
The FCSA is a great club to join, with lots of different toys to play with at every shoot. We shoot mostly at Warcop, Lydd and Sennybridge for the .50's, although there are many others like Warminster that we use for the .338's and smaller stuff.
