smithy73 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) Hi all and a happy new year,i am hoping for some help in finding some tree rat/rat shooting in the south wales area.I have a couple of rabbit shoots on golf courses,but for safety reasons they are night time/lamping only.I have put the hours and mileage in,trying totally unsucessfully,for some sort of daylight shoot,one farmer had me calling back,every month for over a year,and then refused me permission.I only use a pcp air rifle,i am insured.As for a lot of people like myself,i am fully aware of the difficulties of gaining landowners trust,but i love my shooting,and have invested a lot of money,and when possible have upgraded my gear.I live in an area surrounded by forestry commission woodland,with squizzers everywhere,it looks like they are having a party most of the time,really frustrating.HELP! Smithy73, Just keep at it, most of us have trouble getting permission and a lot would love the opertunity to gain permission on a couple of golf courses (including me).
