Dr D
headed out this morning at after 10. with all the snow gone birds here have moved off green plants and I have noticed them on clover and spuds. I seen quite few birds heading along a valley and pitching into a quite small field. The wind was picking up so I headed over and set up along the hedge in the middle of the field at about 11.30 with 24 shells and three bouncers. I packed up at 2.30 and picked 47 birds. Does anyone else on the forum shoot pigeons over potatoes? I always find January and February a good time to check out the local spud growers.
