Aled
Found this quite interesting as there was a similar thread on the Salmon Forum last week asking wether the hard econmic climate would effect the amount people fished for salmon. The general feeling was that people would make economies elsewhere rather than not fish! Is it possible that the economic climate could lead to changes in how we shoot? More DIY small shoots? More people looking for cheap rough shooting? Wildfowling club waiting lists growing? Just asking to see what people think. All around the UK, people make efforts to ensure they get a bit of shooting sport during the year, feeding small flight ponds with kitchen leftovers, helping farmers during harvest for free etc. For those of us who have to (quite rightly by the way) prioratise our spending on mortgages and our families, maybe this type of low key shooting will be what we do more of. Anybody got an opinion? Tight Lines Aled Edited January 12, 2011 by Aled
