bakerboy
I was invited over to Colins permission today to have a look around. What a lovely permission beautiful rolling countryside, plenty of spinneys and woodland, loads of OSR and more importantly plenty and I mean plenty of Pigeon. Having surveyed the fields and identified flightlines, we set up in three different areas, only to see the pigeons settle on the opposite side of the fields, where to be precise around the middle of the field, just settling out of reach. In conclusion the next visit will see us (if I get another invite) placing hides in the middle of the field. The pigeons seem reluctant to leave the field just flying into to nearby spinneys and woods and then coming back to OSR a few minutes later, there is great potential here for Colin and his shooting partner (Dave) not only the pigeons but plenty pf rabbits as well. You probably thinking what did we end up with, well 2 Pigeons and a lovely big hare. Thanks Colin hope to see you again very soon.
