gixer1
Folks, Sorry for the slow response, to answer some questions - The barrels are 32", 3 1/2" Chamber, I have about 4 cartriges which will go with the gun but that is it, LOP is about 14 3/4", the gun is in good condition for age (considering its probably well over 30 years old!) there is slight pitting inside the barrels but nothing unusual or bad for this age/type of gun, the blueing is showing signs of wear but again standard for the age and type, it's a pretty gun and the stock was recently cleaned up and oiled so looks good. i have no idea how much to RFD but can find out (does this depend on distance? never RFD'd any guns before!) The gun is sitting here but the first to come up with the money and a cert will walk away with the gun! looking on the net there are no other 10g Kestrels at this price and they all seem to be in similar condition so as i say, first come first serve! The gun is only going as it has seen the light of day once since getting it and i need the room for a semi-auto that is on its way! it's an interesting thing to have in the cabinet but it does take up room and they are heavy *******! Hope this has answered all the questions but if not let me know. Edited to say - I think the gun is choked 3/4 and full as far as i am aware but i may be wrong! Regards, Gixer. nipper
RFD will cost £12 from this end (TNT). The new owner may have a charge from his local RFD which is paid at the other end .Depending on what his local RFD normaly charges for the transfer . ps, You should be able to borrow a choke guage from Sloans to check the barrels if its not stamped on them !
