The Duncan
Hi folks, I'm happy to say that I went for a clay shooting lesson with Ian at Sherington Shooting Centre, north bucks and had a freezing but excellent time. They checked the gun over that I'd bought and said it was in good shape and fitted me well and they were happy to let me use my own for the whole lesson. Ian was a very good teacher - gave me confidence and soon sussed the right level of coaching I needed and encouraged me to go for the clays 'like I meant it'. Happy to say that it worked and I broke 42 out of 50. He said I've got most of the techniques for good shotgunning quite naturally (bonus!). Lefts and rights at different speeds were 'interesting' but I think I may be a touch addicted. So, a whole-hearted recommendation to Sherington Shooting Centre and Ian in particular. What's more, Ian said I should do well with the woodies if I keep using the techniques I picked up. Further bonus - I'm very comfortable shooting my sxs Great day and I can't wait for more Duncan Edited January 29, 2011 by The Duncan
