shoughton
Whilst rough shooting or walking the dog we keep finding cobs on the ground. There are some cover crops grown - some distance away - that may be maize (I can't see that far as my permission doesn't extend that far) - but I'm just not sure how these cobs end up there. Are game birds fed corn on the cobs? Maybe other birds (gulls or rooks) carry them and drop them? Any thoughts as it confuses me!
