1995 ford fiesta 1.3

Just wanted to see if there was any interest in this before I look into other avenues of disposal!

I have a 1995 1.3 ford fiesta LX 5 speed 5 door hatchback in Java blue. It has just over 73.000 on the clock and has an MOT April 28th no tax but can tax for Buyer if they so with I am still insured for it.

Low mileage for year, Engine runs, Selects all gears, stops when you want, Starts no problem, Engine is NOT a smoker, Recent front tyres, IIRC it has copper brake pipes fitted, Good hand brake, Front chassis area in the engine bay is in excellent condition, Floor seems to be fine also but recomend viewing, seats are clean etc but drivers seat is sagging a little.

Recently we were bullied by a Merc and ended up hitting the kerb and now there is play on the LOWER steering coupling £25 on E.b.a.y 45 mins to change!

Dent in O/S/R door (young girl on the ice slid into us) £20 for a door.

2 areas of rust bubbling up round front of sunroof

Engine idle drops then picks back up every 15 seconds or so when stationary (idle control valve) £16.99 on E b.a.y

OH and needs a Battery the old one has suffered with the frosts as the car was parked up nealry 2 month ago and not used since!

It's 16 years old and made by Ford so it DOES have rust in other area's. N/S front area of the Cill and IIRC a little on the bottom of one of the doors (N/S front I think) but the arches seem OK they have been cleaned up at some point and seem fine. Bumper trims have fell off the doors taking some laquer with them.

For all it's negatives the car is ACTUALLY not too bad and well worth sorting for a first car after passing a test or a cheap car for ferrying Pheasant feed about etc

We have had this car over 6 month now as a stop gap when our Corsa cambelt snapped it's taken us from Newcastle to London and home again 3 times now, Over to blackpool, Up to Edinburgh, Down to Folkestone and never let us down!

My Girlfriend wants to get something newer and bigger

The car is fine to drive the play in the steering is not bad it's just you can feel every little bump through the steering wheel.

A good source of spares for a Fiesta owner or a nice low mileage engine for a Kit Car project.

Viewing is not a problem

£200 ono

Thanks
