stripey999 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Share Posted February 12, 2011 I'm inclined to call it class not luck I'm from Ireland and I love United, supporting teams is not all about location, I dont support my local teams because the quality of football in Ireland is terrible, I support United because of all the great players that have played for them, the history of the club and the quality of football they play. Just because I'm not from Manchester doesnt make me any less of a supporter! Hey i'm not slagging anyone off, just making an observation. My dad and brother support Utd which most likely explained why I went for City as a child. I'm from Manchester so obviously a true blue. Well said...Theres only one Premiership team in Manchester itself and thats CITY.... Geographically speaking... Man Utd might be the largest supported Premiership Club in Britain but its also the most disliked too...
