Foxer
Hi i will be 16 in june and i am looking forward to getting a bike on the road but am stuck on what to get, anyway this is what im after: supermoto/enjuro style bike that is fairly quick and not too expensive (under £1000) + reliable. i have a few i like the look the of and these are: Derbi Senda, Peugeot XPS, aprilia of some sort, and Gilera (not too sure about these because they seem a bit too cheap if you no what i mean) and any other that fits my description if you know of one. foxer

Hunter
As your 16, dont spend to much on yourt first bike becuase itle have to be a slow stinky 50cc. Use something that gets you around, but save your money for a 125 or bigger when you turn 17. You can even ride 400cc or bigger restricted bikes then, and youl be gutted if you spent a grand on a 50cc bike.

banditboy
hey m8 u can only have 50cc when your 16 so no point in spending a 1000 pound. your only going to have it for a year, as soon as u hit 17 u can get a big bike. My first bike was a yamaha DT125R and know i have a bandit 600n,I wish i still had the DTR lol, if i was u i would buy a DT50 1991-1996 there the best and fastest 50cc bike. you will pick them up for about 300 pounds (plus they wheelie), then u can get some gear. and then pay your insurance off give C.I.A a ring, they have allways been the best for me, there number is 0870 444 2777. oh and get a good lock and wait till u smell the 2 stroke oils. .......so nice lol. tell us how u get on any way. Foxer
hi yes i think ill have a look around and see what i think of the DT50. i have got a fairly big budget as i already have a 125 as a sort of field bike however this could easily be made road leagal again because its got all the lights and it is in very good nick so i was thinking of selling that to fund a 50cc , but now im thinking keep the 125cc and buy a cheap 50cc then after 1 year get the 125 back on the road anyway ill have a look around and see what i can find i have still got untill june before im 16 so plenty of time (i hope)
