Dr D
I have couple of bouncers that are worse than useless. the carbon rods twist inside the steel with the result that the birds end up every which way, except they way I want them. Any suggestion how to sort this out (other than throwing them in the bin)??
rabbiter
me and my mate drill holes in each section of rod(on ours, one slips into the other so can be height adjusted)and push split pins thru, job done, good luck with it mate... vampire
Made my own rods from fibre glass rod off e-bay,5m of 10mm for about £13 !
andy_s
I had the same think happen on a bouncer. I drilled a hole in the outer tube and welded a M5 nut to it then use a thumb screw to tighten against the inner rod. In fact I did the same thing with my home made magnet arms. Dr D
thanks guys, drilling a hole appears to be coming up trumps at the minute. I bought three bouncers from a company (which I will not name) and they are hopeless. I have another three that I have been using for ten years (from a diffrent company) with no problems at all. So lesson learnt I would say!!! Edited February 15, 2011 by Dr D
