lol. nobody is replying!!!

Well I'm picking up a semi auto Hatsan Escort on loan from Bakerboy at the weekend for about a week I think, so I'll certainly let you know how I get on with it. Sensibly price shops are doing them for £350 new with a 3 year guarantee, which is reassuring as about 1 in 5 owners seem to have issues with their gun.

Those that don't have issues seem very happy with them though.

There's a fair amount in the second hand market of most makes in the price bracket too.

In Guns for sale there's a Beretta ES100 for £450 if you can stretch the budget a bit. Mind you, ultimately I might want that one myself - who knows?

Cheers and good luck

i dnt know what to think of them coz theres so many mixed reviews!!! lol.

Personally, the 'mixed' experiences wouldn't worry me, as they include old and new version guns and as I said, if any gun I buy new malfunctions, it goes back under guarantee and if it can't be fixed I'll insist on a replacement until I'm happy - after all whether a gun costs £350 or £900, a guarantee is a guarantee. :yes:

Cheers

i thought i already replied to this one....... :hmm: never mind.

i own a hatsan escort 28'' barrel have done for two year now and it has never let me down once, some people swear by them, some people swear at them , i use mine for all types of shooting e.g fox, rabbits, decoying and find it a nice gun to use in the field, you can pick them up for around £350 brand new, well thats what i payed for mine. but i must say if you fancy a hatsan dont get the one with loading button on the side its nothing but a pain in the neck. mine is the new style where you just push on the loading gate to load. much better. no doubt you will be getting a lot of mixed feelings about the hatsan. i swear by mine. like i say never let me down and they are a good gun for the money. if you look after the gun, the gun will look after you i always say.

also you get a 3 year warranty, and its a multi choke.

like i said above good guns for the money.

goog luck :good::good:

worth looking at imo

not quite sure if its a S/A or pump they don't make it clear but a bargain at £350

i too have a hatsan escort, brilliant work horse! not the most refined gun but does the job pretty well for £300

That's a pump action gun mate, looks good though and cheap thinking that it's a Winchester it should be built quite well and by the video it look's like great fun and good.

Saying this the hatsan escort magnum is a great gun from what ive seen from all of my mates which have no trouble at all with them but aslog as you go for the newer version which has the magazine release button underneath the loading gate while the older versions have the button on the side opposite to the magazine cutoff button, that's why im getting one as my next gun.

So if you do go for a Hatsan get the newer version
