Paul223 Posted February 22, 2011 Report Share Posted February 22, 2011 what tip's do you want? catch your first bird? bait the trap with hen eggs and a little white bread, put some bread on top of the trap too, should only take a day or too replace either bait as necessary setting the trap door? use two pieces of wood end on end to lock the door open so that they break in the middle as the bird lands on them keeping a call bird alive? feed it some scraps and an odd fresh egg with fresh water daily, i hang an old rubber car mat over the side of the trap in line with the perch to provide a little protection from the prevailing wind and any strong sun Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
