Gnome of the Woods
I have just spent a very informative and enjoyable hour round at Terry's (bakerboy). As a complete novice I found his enthusiasm is infectious and his manner superb. He let me have a fit of all his guns and was helpful in pointing out the best fit for me. Which just so happened to be one he did not like! Sales ploy I think! lol I cannot wait to get some lesson time under my belt and join the Herts "massive" in breaking some clays. Thanks again, I will be calling Paul
bakerboy
Paul You are welcome. It is nice to do something that keeps our sport alive and kicking. I noticed you did not finish your coffee, I will try better next time, or maybe stop talking long enough for you to finish drinking. Come round when it is warmer and the beer you noticed next to the gun safes will be in a glass on a table in the garden. bakerboy

Good on you Terry Hopefully see you for some clays on Sunday if you can make it. You cheeky devil . The Lanber is a lovely gun if you like heavy guns . Being of a slight and delicate make up the Lanber does not suit me . I used it last weekend for clays, shooting off the left shoulder, as the gun is pretty straight it mounted very well and the weight absorbed the recoil I cannot say it did not help with my left handed progress, so I blamed the gun anyway. bakerboy
