gixer1
Got up early and went and bought a scope for my winchester 9422M, then went over and zeroed it, no problem, then me and my friend drove round the estate and had a go at a few crow's...shot at 5....missed 5 , my friend fired 2 shots and got one squirrel and a crow for his efforts..... Went back to check the zero and it turned out to be about 2" right of bull....adjusted it and had about a 1" group at 80 yards, my mate shot a group and oddly it was slightly to the left after i'd shot a group around the middle with the rifle... we then went looking for more crows....shot at 3 crows and 2 rabbits.......5 misses..... I am officially shooting badly today.....much to the amusement of my friend... begins with T, ends in T and has WA in the middle! just one of those days i guess... I've noticed this too, when i invite friends over to shoot, i lend them a rifle and they can't seem to hit FA, even tho they're zeroed. You borrow his rifle and it will shoot different to his zero. Same as shotguns evreryones different. But i have shot with my friend in gallery rifle comps and used his rifles after a while ya get to know his zero and us (kentucky windage) lol
