iPhone 3G 8g

Just a heads up, but no Apple certified repair centre is authorised to 'repair' a water damaged iPhone. Any WD iPhone must be replaced by a repair centre.

I had a 3GS returned to me by my insurer after water damaging and struggled to sell it as the headphone indicator was still saying it was damaged. I contacted O2 and Apple who both confirmed that an iPhone should never be returned as 'fixed' if it's WD.

I know you're probably keen to sell it, but this is the difference between £150 and £250 ;) That being said, my insurer was so apologetic after I emailed them that they reimbursed me to the tune of a 32GB iPhone 4 (£620) not bad for a little complaint letter.

Also, you didn't specify the capacity of the device.
