Lightforce remote roof mounted lamp question

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of cutting a hole in the roof of my terrano and fitting the lightforce remote handle, I like a bit more of a spread beam than my 170 lightforce gives so generally use a cheap 1.5m candle power sealey lamp with a red filter and so if possible I would like to mount this.

Can anyone tell me if the roof mount finishes and connects to the lamp with a male or a female thread? Pictures on the net seem to show both :hmm:

Cheers

You can have it either way mate. The normal way is you have a bolt fixed to the bracket on your lamp which you screw into the t-bar. Once screwed in you turn the locking nut down and tighten onto the end of the t-bar.
