roebuck243
Hi i bought an escort semi auto 3 years ago just for the pigeons and its a great gun.Been out today with it and yesterday and it knocks pigeons over like anything else 28" and chocked about 1/4 i think and it dropped some very long birds today and handles superb. Its jammed a bit now and then but probably down to me never cleaning it .I throw it in the mud use it most days and would buy another tomorrow for the money.Yes i think there are better guns prob out there but for a pigeon gun and price i think they are great. MITCHF
How many times Somebody wants advise on what O/U and "get the right fit" is the most common advice. Ask what S/A and the "Hatsan's are rubbish" brigade turn out in force (Most have never owned one) Try as many brands as you can get your hands on my friend and buy what "you" want and like, but fit will always be the most important factor. Just for fun, my 2yr old hatsan has had 1000's through it, is on the same O ring and has never jammed Equally my shooting Buddy's Remi 1100 is as reliable. Harwoodandy
Webley & Scott 800 series is a good workhorse - i have one and has never missed a beat, not pampered but given a wipe over and a spray of oil now and then. Available NEW for £399 with a big warranty. Worth a look....
