ab1964
Join the NPPC: for two pounds a week, you can shoot at dozens & dozens of places around Yorkshire and beyond. For me, two pounds a week is worth it for not having to knock on doors; not having to build a relationship (and be available as necessary) to any farmer or land owner. Two pounds a week means I can shoot pretty much at my leisure - and at a large variety of locations. www.nppc.uk.co Also read this - http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/159795-first-day-out-with-nppc/

My point is that - FOR ME - knocking on doors, making a commitment, and feeling obligated to be available (when I may not have the time) is something I would rather not do. Hence, the NPPC is a good deal for me. Edited March 17, 2011 by ab1964
