scottk
Lots of top tips boys, i must admit im a bit gutted it sounds like decoying is not the thing for pigeons, and as for roost shooting, tried, have nailed a couple but trying to get a clear shot, well thats another thing!!!!! Verry frustrating but going to keep trying!!! Ive got the crows to land all around my hide (in situe for 2 months now) but when there in the tress its hard to get a clear shot, and its going to get worse, I realy need a tactic to get them on the grass field next to my woods, tried a falcon decoy lots of circling, same with a rabbit and a rabiit with crow decoys!!!!! Is it worth getting a wobbler and a foam crow do you think!!!! Im going to try the egg thing next and see what happens. Thanks for all the advice boys keep it coming because i need to get some of the black stuff!!!! Cheers scott
hitman
hi mate welcome to the nut house, hard to get woodies or crow to land but the most effective way ive come across is to use a magnet at about 50 yds out and no more than3 deeks well spaced out facing the wind at about 30 yds.to many deeks make sit easier to spot there fake before they land. hope it helps hitman

scottk
Got a woodie stalking, but took a 200 yard belly crawl to get in range!!!!!! A lot of work for a woodie, but enjoyed it. Had one roosting too, keep spooking the woodies as i approach though, and there hard to pick out in the trees, going to try that again though. Ive built a hide close to a sitty tree and going to loft a couple of deeks in the tree. Let you know how i get on. scott
