Gun Safe

Hi All,

I'm looking to get my shotgun license and hence a gun safe... not sure where I can put/hide it though?

How tall are gun safes? Is there anyway to fit one under a counter - as in the height of a kitchen counter?

Any help appreciated - struggling to figure this one out.

Thanks,

Jon.

best places are in a cuboard or bedroom some people even fit them in the loft. Also buy the biggest cabinet 7+ as if u want more guns u will have to replace the cabinet in the future and it will cost more,

give u an idea a 7+ cabinet is HxWxD mm 1308 x 407 x 346

Thanks gents, much appreciated.

Only in a rented place, no objections to buying a new safe in future if I expand as limited space at the minute.

Think I'm looking at a safe where I need to "break down" the gun in terms of size I can fit? Planning on going under a counter and then putting some curtain across the front so it's well hidden. Obviously I need to go through this with FAO - if they want it boarded in as a cupboard I'll do it.

So my next query - what is "break down" and how long would it take? Assume it's taking the gun into 2 halfs somehow?

Many Thanks.

Correct mate-you 'break' the gun e.g. remove barrels from action-5second job :good:
