steve_b_wales
When you say 'correct mounts', in what way do mean? Steve.
sixhills 69
I have 30m mounts which came with it but as the Cz527 has a 16mm dovetail i could not find mounts that gave me the correct eye relief, so had a weaver rail fitted and still can not get the forward movement to give the correct distance from my eye to the scope to give me a clear view through the scope so now i have ordered a front mount which is extended to hopfully make that bit of extra if all that makes scence. Just wondered if any one else had any probs or what people that own this scope think. Thanks

SilentKill
you must need some serious eye releif! That was the serious part, and the part that followed was called humour! if you cant see that then the internet is not the place for you! I'm not sure how much eye releif you need for your scope (and i'm sure others will be thinking the same) at most its 3-4" and mosts scopes with the magnification you are talking about have a tube length long enough to deal with that, and all a extended front mount will do will depend how far your back mount can be located forward! sixhills 69
I have never in my life had a problem with a scope and its due to the problems i have lost my scence of humour if i could afford to i would buy new one but beggers can't be choosers so im stuck with it for now. my question was does anyone have one and can give feed back. Hopefully the extended mount may help you, but i fear you may be restricted to the mounting on the Scope tube its self!

sixhills 69
For anyone that is intrested i have resolved the problem i purchased a extended front mount and due to the large flat base on the scope i had to a bit of filing but got it seated nice, correct eye relief at last. It cost me less than going to spec savers and no need for laser surgery. The scope itself is quite nice clear field of view and its nice that once it is zero'd you can just unscrew the centre screw on the turret ond set them to zero. The turrets are quite high so if you are wearing gloves it is not a problem also the click is nice and solid the side focus has a good grip type wheel on the side and it has a sigle mil dot. I have spoken to the supplier and they retail at £120 which i think is not bad for what you get. The only Problem is the large rectangular base in the middle of the scope is what caused my problem but easy sorted.
adymorris
I've had the very same Fox scope on a .223 - very nice bit of kit for the money and the red dot helps immensely acquiring targets at night/low light
