Pigeon and corvid selection

Recommended Posts

Not the biggest bag in the world but all taken cleanly between 35 and 50 yards yesterday by me and my shooting buddy Dan. All action started at 6am and sadly ended within 30 minutes. Then all was quiet after that.

Two pigeons on the left and the maggie - .22 Theoben rapid mk 1

Crow, rook and remaining pigeon - .22 Air Arms S510 carbine

Yes, bloody maggies. Sadly I can not take credit for that one. He was shot at a very good 50 yards with the rapid by my mate. His accomplice was going mental (although not overly so) when he was downed. Unfortunately we could not get a shot on for the double then he flew off. Trouble with magpies is they never really keep still long enough to have their necks ventilated in a "you won't be doing that again will you?" sort of way... ;)
