tom_0787
My lab pup Leo has just turned 7 months. He has been becoming more and more farty recently. He's on skinners field and trial puppy. Is it just the high protein content of the puppy food that's causing the issue? What age are pups normally introduced to adult food? Or is it more as and when their growth starts to slow? JustJon
Maybe try some junior food? Supposed to bridge the gap between puppy and adult. My jack russell had this, switch of food to adult (didnt realise junior was available) and all better. Jon

Paul@Ribchester
My Lab was on beta puppy till twelve months then I very slowly introduced adult food. You could try sprinkling fennel seeds on his food......?
WGD
Skinners Puppy seems to be quite rich, it was giving a lab pup of mine the runs by 6 months - put him on Duck & Rice and he was solid within 24 hours. Probably about right time to change food. If you want to keep the protein level up try Crunchy - I think it's about 26% as opposed to D&R which is 22.
