semiauto1984
Hello all, Got a call on sunday from a farmer who had just drilled a big field of kale which was been raped by pigeons and crows. i went to assist him,gun and deeks in hand.In a hour i had bagged 60 birds.25 pigeons, the rest jackdaws and hooded crows. i had a few crow deeks mixed in with my pigeons, which seemed to drwaw more crows than pigeons. Do crows deeks in a pigeon pattern deter pigeons? Do people normally mix crow and pigeon or do ye keep them seperate? Field is still been raped only have time in the evening to shoot because of work. Any advice would be appreciated.thanks Rob
TJ91
the field is getting 'raped'!? never heard that 1 before! i sometimes put a couple of crow decoys to the side of my pigeon pattern some say having a crow decoy just out the pattern gives the pigeons more confidence i only put them there if i intend on shootign a few crows aswell i would put them all together mixed up in 1 pattern though
