Pheasant Feeder
During the course of today I've removed 10 ticks of varying sizes from the dog, got back from Scotland on Saturday night. Expect to find more as the week goes on. Whats the most removed from one dog following one 'outing'?
D_No
Ok not a dog but my jills had 5 a piece after our last outing, pretty impressive considering the size of them! D

the_commoner
i had well over 20 on the ears of my spaniel 2 years ago, think the sheep had been dipped and i walked across the field, i then spent the rest of the week taking more off, vile things that seriously give me the creeps. apache
I have seen dogs with many hundreds of ticks attached. Make sure you treat the dog regularly with a product such as Frontline or Advantix or get a Scalibor collar as it is easy to miss a tick. I'm sure you know they can carry nasty diseases. Pheasant Feeder
Treated him with frontline when we got back (just before I found the first tick) Just found another 3 on areas already checked. Using O'Tom tick removing hook and done a little reading on symptoms of Lyme disease.
